Recent Children’s Playground Installation in Morpeth

A recent project for a Children’s playground installation in Morpeth.

The project involved laying 120 square metres of Resin bound rubber mulch surfacing. First of all the original turf was lifted and the relaid with Resin bound rubber mulch surfacing. This type of surfacing is perfect for play areas as it helps absorb impact to protect children whilst playing. Our team then assembled the Children’s playground over the new surfacing.

Rubber mulch is ideal for areas with natural turf that become slippery or mudding in wet conditions. Especially relevant is the fact it offers a safer play area for children.

This surfacing can be supplied and installed by our team in a wide range of natural colour options. After installation, this type of surfacing is very durable and does not require much maintenance. For your information, all the materials used are thoroughly tested for quality of product and safety. Therefore meeting the requirements of the BS EN 1177 safety standards.

Furthermore where climbing frames, slides and swings are installed critical fall height ratings can be achieved by us adding thicker depths to the area.
